Bacillus Thuringiensis

A bacterium which will destroy the stomach cells of specific insects that consume it.  Considered safe to people, pets, and wildlife.

Advantages:

• Does not harm beneficial insects.
• Safe around pets and people.

Disadvantages:

• Degrades quickly - some within 24 hours
• Must be eaten by the insect to be effective
• Short shelf life.
